In this concert, Maestro Jules not only lets the audience hear how music works in film, but above all experience what that music does to us. How do composers and directors manage to guide our emotions so subtly? What musical choices makes a scene unforgettable, moving, or breathtakingly suspenseful?

Before the intermission, beloved classical works will be performed that have taken on new meaning through their use in films. With engaging commentary by Maestro Jules. After the intermission, a whole new world opens up: that of the great Hollywood scores. Iconic music from blockbusters such as James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jaws, and The Lord of the Rings. The concert hall transforms into a world of sound filled with suspense, adventure, and emotion. A special role is reserved for soprano Laetitia Gerards, who provides vocal highlights with her expressive voice!
