DUSTING OFF THE CLASSICS

An International Media Project

Maestro Jules' ambitions go beyond just the concert hall. He is currently working on an ambitious international media project - Maestro Jules Reveals: Dusting off the Classics. In this video format, Maestro Jules is presented as the international guide to classical music, as the archetype of the orchestral conductor. In 10-15 minutes episodes, Maestro Jules will be unboxing, dusting off, and revealing the 100 most essential symphonic Masterpieces. Maestro Jules is your guide to the world of orchestral music: your conductor, your entertainer, your friend. The video format will be developed as 10 seasons of 10 episodes. The seasons will be widely distributed on every conceivable video platform in the world.

Captivating new hearts and minds

Maestro Jules van Hessen excels in introducing and explaining the beauty of orchestral music to a wide and varied audience and does so both entertainingly and understandably. What’s more, he shatters classical music’s elitist, ivory-tower image and reputation in the process. That is why his Maestro Jules Reveals: Dusting off the Classics is not looking to target traditional classical music aficionados (the over 40s) but to captivate the hearts and minds of new audiences unfamiliar with classical concerts.

Online support: Maestropedia

Maestro Jules Reveals: Dusting off the Classics is available for television and video-on-demand distribution. But Maestro Jules is also putting together his very own interactive helpdesk or, as he calls it, his Maestropedia. Here, Maestro Jules explains classical music terms, discusses its instruments, and imparts a basic level of knowledge. Not to mention revealing some tantalizingly juicy facts! All in all, a collection of over one hundred entertaining and educational video clips.
